TEAM SUMMITS

With tom AND/OR TORI dabasinskas

What is a team summit?

A team summit at Mirador Retreats provides a relaxed offsite setting at which you are free to rest, reflect, and prepare for future work together. I will design the retreat elements with you, crafting a schedule that best accomplishes your team’s objectives. Each summit is varied, but could include any or all of the following:

  • Uninterrupted time to work together as team

  • One or more workshops

  • Guided self-reflection exercises

  • Guided team exercises

  • Team facilitation

  • Business/communication consulting

  • Various outdoor options (strolling by the creek, visiting the horse, extended hikes or even a game of pickleball)

  • A meal (either brought by your team or catered)

  • Snacks and refreshments

We have the capacity to host teams of up to 15 people.

What makes it unique

A team summit at Mirador Retreats means you have access to professional services as part of your team offsite. Together, Tori and I bring a combined 60 years of expertise in leadership development, organizational dynamics, counseling and coaching. I have helped individuals and teams in the nonprofit sector reach their personal and professional potential. I enjoy seeing people identify their goals and take practical steps towards achieving them. By focusing on both competencies and character, I help people experience increased effectiveness and lasting fulfillment. My extensive international work also provides perspective and insight into multicultural leadership environments.

Tori, a licensed marriage family therapist, is a communication strategist deeply devoted to supporting people seeking health in relationships. She brings a wealth of clinical experience from outpatient/inpatient psychological services, and can offer teams practical tools for improving communication and relational health in the workplace.

In addition to the unique set of professional services available, Mirador Retreats is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting that provides comfortable, classy meeting spaces ideal for gatherings of 15 or fewer people. It’s located less than 30 minutes from SeaTac airport and downtown Seattle.

Who Might benefit from a
team summit

The following are just a few examples of who may benefit from a team summit:

1.

A leadership team who is looking for time away to build relationships, strategize around a project, or relax together. The team leader could explore use of the environment independently or include the added professional support from Tom and/or Tori for either a half-day, full day, or multi-day retreat.

2.

A group of board members seeking a place to have an annual meeting to connect, plan, and share a meal together.

3.

A group who wants a getaway with the convenience of being a short drive from home or the office.
